Land records, military documents, maps, receipts, and photographs concerning tract of land set aside for Canadian and Nova Scotian refugees and Fort Montgomery, including receipts, land grant, and inventory of lots owned by John McLean, 1785-1822; agreement concerning construction of Fort Montgomery signed by John Stewart, Malcolm McMartin, and James McIntyre, 1816, and letter and statement of damages resulting from the halt in construction, 1821; and photographs of the remains of Fort Montgomery, ca.1950. Other items include appointment of James McIntyre as Sheriff of Montgomery County, 1807; regimental appointments of Jacques Rouse, 1790, and Laurent Oliver, 1776; and copy of bill for damages to Crab Island during the War of 1812, 1814.
